Pudhina (mint) leaves
1 medium  Tomato
1 tablespoon Urad Dal

Red Chilis
1 Pinch Asafoetida (Hing)
1/4 teaspoon
Tamarind paste
1/2 teaspoon
Salt
2 teaspoon
Oil

Method

  1. Pluck pudhina leaves from the bunch and wash throughly in running water
  2. Remover water using a strainer
  3. Heat 2 teaspoon of oil and fry pudhina leaves till it shrinks (2 to 3 mins)
  4. Fry urad dal, red chilis, hing and grind it to coarse powder
  5. Fry 1 tomato
  6. Add 1/4 teaspoon tamarind, salt and tomato and mix thoroughly
  7. Add pudhina
  8. Add water according to consistency needed
