Method
- Peel thorns out of ride gourd
- Cut into half
- Peel the skin
- Cut into small pieces
- Put 2 teaspoon of oil in frying pan
- Add mustard and cumin seeds
- Add the skin
- Cook till it becomes soft
- Meanwhile, make paste out of chana dal, red chilis, hing, curry leaves and tamarind
- Add cooked ridge gourd skin to the paste
- Add salt
- Grind the mix adding water as needed
