Rava kesari
1 cup rava, 1cup sugar,1/2 cup ghee. Pour 50% of ghee ina kadai and roast rava till it becomes golden brown . it will give a good aroma. Remove and keep it aside. Take 3 cups of water and place it in the kadai and heat it. Then add the sugarand allow it to melt and boil it. Now add the roasted rava and constantly stir. When it starts condensing it add the remaining ghee slowly till it leaves the kadai. Remove and serve.
Rava Balls
Roast rava in a kadai with ghee till it becomes golden brown. Powder the sugar and keep it ready. When the roasted rava is still hot mix it with the powdered sugar and make it as balls by using both hands.
Chirmaa Laadu
1 cup rava 1cup sugar, ghee and oil equal( one cup.
Take rava and mix it with small quantity of water and make as dough and keep it for 1 hour. Take the dough small balls and make it like chappaties ( appalam). Fry this in the ghee oil and keep it aside.Powder the sugar and keep it. Powder the fried chappaties (appalam) finely. Mix this with the powdered sugar and make it as small balls by using both hands,like laddu.
Asoka
1 cup moong dal. 1 ½ cup sugar. 1 cup ghee. 1 cup milk.
Add 1/4 cup of water with milk and boil it. Drop the moong dall and cook it in a cooker till it fully cooked. Remove and mash it without any lump. Ina kadai put the sugar and allow it to melt and make it as a sugar syrup consistency. Add the mashed moongdal and add the heated ghee and stir slowly. Before that, In a flat plate spread the ghee inside and pour the mix and spread it evenly and serve.
Jangiri
1 CUP Urad dal. 2 cups of sugar, 1 cup oil.
Soak the urd dal in water for one hour and drain it completely. Make a fine paste without adding water in a mixie and keep aside. Melt the sugar in a string consistency and keep it aside in a wide mouthed vessel. Heat the oil in a low fire and after getting it heated, by using the icecream decorative cone or using a thick cloth by making a small hole in it and squeeze the urad dal paste through the hole. Squeeze this paste in the oil and make jangiri.. Fry it and diretly transfer this to sugar syrup and allow it to immerse. Remove and serve with the jeera.
Jilebi
SAME AS ABOVE.But instead of urad dal take Maida flour and mix it in water as if like dosa dough previous day it self. This stuff to be used as that for jangiri.
Wheat halwa
2 CUPS OF Samba wheat . 3 cups of sugar. 1 cup of ghee
Soak the samba wheat in water for about 2 hours. Grind it as fine paste and sieve it in a cloth. After one hour the thick paste will be in the bottom leaving the water contents . remove the excess water. It will be in the idly dough consistency. If the dough comes for one cup use 1 ½ cup sugar. Allow it to melt and when it comes to the string consistency add the wheat paste slowly and stir it. Also add the heated ghee slowly and stir it constantly. When the contents starts thickens and leaves the side of the kadai without sticking to it remove it in a plate and make small pieces and serve.
Moongdal Payasam
Cook one small cup of moongdal and drain the water and mash it. Take equal quantity of Jaggary or sugar and boil it. Add milk and the mashed moongdal and mix it and serve.
Milk Payasam
Take one small cup of rice. Cook the same in equal quantity of milk and water. After fully cooked, remove it. In a kadai add two cups of sugar and when it melts add the cooked rice and slowly add boiled milk (3 to 4 cups)slowly in small quantity) and note to keep the fire at low level. The cooked rice will slowly mix in the boiled milk and will thicken. Remove and serve.
Appala payasam
Take I Cup of rava and mix it will a small quantity of ghee and keep it in a bowl for one hour. Then make it a smaa balls and rollit as that of chappaties. Fry this either in ghee or oil. when it cools down make it small pieces and keep it and drop it in a bowl containing water and boiled milk and later lightly cook it in (steam cooker)In a kadai put 1 1/2 cup of sugar and melt it. Add 3 cups of milk and the cooked rava pieces and boil it and remove and serve.

Fry 1 cup of rava in a kadai with ghee till it becomes golden brown and it will give a nice aroma and keep it aside. Add milk and water in equal quantity and boil it. Add 1 cup of sugar in the boiled milk/water and after it melts add the fried rava . Boil it slightly and remove it and serve.
